The Life of Benito Mussolini

It’s 1902, a young man named Benito Mussolini moves from Italy to Switzerland  to avoid military service. In Switzerland he gets big into socialism and becomes ‘Anti-War’. Soon, he gets in trouble with the Swiss Police and is arrested! Eventually, he is set free but he has to serve in the military.

After his military service he went back to Switzerland again and got arrested-again. Later he was sent back to Italy again.

When Italy colonized Libya in 1910,  he rioted and got arrested -AGAIN !  Feeling  annoyed, he decided: “I am done with socialism and being  Anti-war. I’m pro-war and creating a new belief,  I call it Facismo (Fascism).” He planned creating  dictatorship with himself at its centre.

Mussolini later went bald.

In 1936, Mussolini got a letter from Hitler and Hirohito, leaders of  Germany and Japan, inviting him to join the “Tripartite Pact” an alliance between Germany, Japan and, of course, Italy.

In 1939 Germany invaded Poland.  Fast forward to 1942, the Fifa World Cup was stopped because of WW2  and Germany was at it strongest. Things looked like they were going well for Mussolini. But in 1943, the Invasion of Sicily meant that the government of Italy changed.

Mussolini was suddenly very unpopular… He was even stopped from being leader! Finally, in 1944, he was thrown out of a window causing a major injury. Then, in 1945  he was shot in 1945. Killing him once and for all…
