The City of Dreams

Darkness… Jess’s dream had began… The City of Dreams had awoken…

Yet again Jess strode through the red velvet carpeted floors of her grand royal blimp – The Dreamer. Joyfully, she looked around at the diamonds and jewels that filled her point of view. Carefully, she sat down at an extended, oak table filled with all the food she could ever imagine: buckets of KFC, roast pork chops galore, three layered lemon drizzle cake, a whole wall dedicated to pick and mix and so much more. Once she had finished her dream buffet, she looked out into the stunning glass window and stared willingly, wondering what everyone was doing below at that very moment.

Suddenly, she rushed to the door and snatched her hippopotamus umbrella and with no effort at all extended it. Elegantly, she stepped out of the blimp but she did not fall. Instead, Jess glided gracefully through the cotton candy clouds and twisted and turned past paper cranes and origami eagles. Like a sloth, she slowly swept down…down…down until she reached a fluffy marshmallow landing. She had reached her destination- The City of Dreams…
