My Romanian Easter

Hello!

Today I will tell you about my holiday and how I celebrated Romanian Easter. Right, let’s get started!

I just want to say, that I celebrate two Easters, Romanian Easter and English Easter. Before we get started, I want to say that there are no chocolate eggs in Romanian Easter -I know right!?

But ,instead of chocolate eggs, you would have boiled eggs and they would have patterns on them 🇹🇩!

Also there is a special kind of cake called cozonac which can come in different flavours such as:

1. Chocolate and Nuts
2. Chocolate, Nuts and Raisins
3. Chocolate, Nuts and Turkish delight
4. Chocolate,Nuts Raisins and Turkish delight

And finally we have a special celebration on the night before Easter, people will stay awake until midnight to get a candle so then they can take a light from the priest and then in the morning they will celebrate Romanian Easter!
