Pollution: 

the world we once knew is done

pollution has begun

the forests of Australia are aflame

and every one acts as if its all the same

have you thought about how many fish we slaughter

with vile pollution in the water?

do you know what gives owls a fright?

its the light pollution in the night

birds simply won’t be found

while there is smoke and fumes from the ground

for moles and badgers its always toil

getting away from trash in the soil

monkeys and squirrels are asking please

stop cutting down our homes in the trees!

while ice caps are melting fast

this century may be our last…

do you know what I think is strange?

it’s the fact we haven’t yet seen change!
