Napoleon Bonaparte was a French leader. He lived  from 15 August 1769 – 5 May 1821.

Napoleon was from Corsica -an island north of Italy’s Sardinia.

Pretty big eh? Napoleon took over a lot of land! This is a map which shows which parts of Europe were taken over by France.  In light blue is territory Napoleon owned but didn’t take over. In dark blue is territory’s he owned and did forcefully take over.
