How to Make Homemade Orange Sugar Scrub

By Anna Jirtle

I got the idea to make this from Kirsty a crafter on tv. I made it with my mum when I was at home because of a strike. So let’s get started!

Ingredients:

·       Coconut oil

·       Olive oil

·       Oranges

·       Brown sugar

·       Coffee grounds

Step 1

First you take one of your oranges and peel it over the blender we used 2 oranges so do the same with one more. You might want to ask for help from an adult for the peeling.

Step 2

Next blend the oranges peel until they are tiny.

Step 3

In a bowl add the blended orange peel and 4 tablespoons of coconut oil, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, and 6 teaspoons of coffee grounds

Step 4

Blend it all together but if it is too runny add more coconut oil. Mmmmmmm smells so good! Oh and don’t forget to add some sugar or if you love a good salt scrub use salt. We used 2 spoons of sugar.

Step 5

Now put it into containers with a spoon and enjoy! It will last 2 weeks but if you put it at the back of a dark cupboard and leave it for 3-4 days first it will last a few months. Rub a dub dub!
