In 1940, the McDonalds opened a barbecue stand in San Bernardino.

The McDonald’s brothers opened their first McDonald’s restaurant on May 15, 1940 in San Bernardino, California.

Now there are 41,800 McDonald’s in the universe!

Originally, you could order food from your car. Nowadays you can eat in the restaurant , drive thru or you can get it as a takeaway.

McDonalds serve lots of different meals. I normally have a McChicken Sandwich, fries and a coke. I also get 20 chicken nuggets because my mum is nice.
