All About Autism!
I am writing about autism because I have it and I want to raise awareness about autism so that no-one feels ashamed of who they are.
What is autism?
Autism is a difference in how your brain works. Not all brains work the same. This is called neurodiversity. Not all people with autism are the same but some people with autism have some traits which are similar. There are loads of different autistic traits.
What traits might autistic people have?
- They might not like loud noises.
- They find it hard to understand certain people .
- They might struggle with certain stuff.
Did you know 86.9 million people in the world have autism?
