The ancient Egyptians lived next to the river Nile . It was so important they even gave it their own god called Hapi.

He was the protector of the river Nile and helped look after it. Along the banks of the river Nile grew a plant called Papyrus. The ancient Egyptians used it for making many things such as:paper,sandals and boats. They used another bigger boat for trading things like jewellery and food to the other side of the river Nile.The Egyptians wrote in a special language called hieroglyphs. The first ever hieroglyphs we’re written on a very special rock 🪨 called,” The Rosseta stone. “It also had the Ancient Greek writing ✍️on it.

Well, a Pharaoh is the ancient Egyptian king .🤴They we’re very important and had lots of money.💷💷Usually a Pharaoh is represented by a god.Egyptians worship the Pharaoh.When a Pharaoh dies😵, Egyptians normally wash them in the water 💦 of the river 🏞Nile, dry them in a special type of salt 🧂,wrapped them up in linen bandages and put them in a coffin ⚰️.The Egyptians put in lots of things like:jewellery,clothes and everything they thought the Pharaoh would need for the afterlife. Anubis,the god of mummification helps with the afterlife. Isis,the goddess of love 💕 and childhood is the wife of the king 👑 (not the actual Pharaoh )He is the god of the afterlife .Unfortunately he has aN evil 😈 brother called Seth .He is the god of chaos .
