Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

My name is Zara and I am in Swift Class. Our class reader for this term is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I am really enjoying the story and I like the front cover of the book.

The Harry Potter series is all about a boy called Harry Potter who has a lightning-shaped scar and is a wizard. He goes to school at Hogwarts where monsters also live. Some of his teachers are nice, like Professor McGonagoll but some, like Professor Snape, are horrible.

Harry also has an enemy called Voldemort. He is a really, really bad guy who wants to kill Harry Potter. In the first story Voldemort came to Harry’s house, when he was a baby and killed his parents. Harry was not killed somehow.

My favourite part of The Chamber of Secrets so far is when Harry Potter gets rescued by his friend Ron Weasley, in a flying car. I can’t wait to find out how this story ends!
