Camellia woke in her bed. “Huh,” she said. “Where am I?”
“Oh my, oh my is she alright?” It was her Mum, Queen Safron.
“She’s ok dear…”Then her dad entered, King Eric. Camellia asked, “What happened? Where’s Lily? What’s on your….back?”.
“Wings.” Her mother answered, trying not to cry. Their wings were pink, pretty and had a bouquet each containing the finest flowers. “Has this happened to everyone?” Camellia asked, more calmly than before.
“Yes” King Eric sighed. Camellia looked in shock.
“Angie, I mean Angela, us, Lily, everyone in our kingdom. Also…” He said looking down at the ground hardly. “….you”.
Her mother burst into tears. “We found you and Lily in Angela’s hut, w-we were so scared.”She said as elegantly as she could but her crying didn’t help. “W-would y-you like t-to see f-f-for yourself?”.
Camellia replied “ok.” Camellia looked outside . Wow, had she caused this? Camellia saw fairies. But they didn’t have flowers on their wings. Some had fruits, bright colours and stars with moons and they were scattered all around the castle waiting for the king, Queen and princesses. The Queen said, “I better re-do my make up.”
She then left the room.
“But I’m not ready to go yet,” said Camellia. She turned to look at the King but he had just left the room.
