William Morris

Today I am going to talk about William Morris because I think he is very cool and I have been learning about him in Art lessons.

William Morris was born in 1834. He lived a long time ago but he is still very famous.

Anyway, William Morris was an artist. Before he became an artist, he was  going to join the church and become a priest. He is most famous for drawing pictures of flowers which were made into wallpaper. However, he was also a poet, writer and environmental campaigner.

His dad was a wealthy business man and he had friends who were writers, artist and poets.
