11 misleading facts Part 1

  1. Shakespeare might have not written plays, he might have not have been real. You could say “To be or not to be …real.”

2.  Carrots don’t make you see in the dark, but they make your eyes healthier.

3. The story that an apple fell on Isaac Newton’s head is false! It is a story to help people understand how he discovered gravity

4. Christopher Columbus didn’t discover America-he didn’t even get to America. He stopped in the Caribbean.

5. You may think that the (not so) great fire of London killed lots of people but it only directly killed 6 people!(which is very sad)

6. St George wasn’t from England; he was actually Turkish!

7. King Arthur could have been Welsh or French or even not have been real!

8. The Vikings were actually quite a nice bunch of people and they also liked poetry as well as rhyming!

9. On the topic of the Vikings. The Vikings didn’t have horns on their helmets!

10. Humans have many more than 5 senses they also have the senses of hunger, if you are upside-down or upright and temperature just to name a few.

11. Mary Anning didn’t discover the first ichthyosaur It was first discovered in the 1600s but she was the first to specify the species.
