My mum is from the Netherlands so I want to tell you all about it.
The Netherlands is a small but amazing country it has many islands and it is on the coastline to get to it you have to cross France and Belgium.
In the Netherlands they like riding bikes and do it much more than we do in England. You can also call the Netherlands, Holland. In the Netherlands there is so much tulips that it can go around the world three times! Isn’t that amazing?
The language that they speak in the Netherlands is Dutch. ‘Hello’ in Dutch is goedendag (pronounced goot en targ) or hallo. Granny and Grandpa in Dutch is Oma and Opa. My Opa and Oma live in the Netherlands.
